Ethiopia Guji Shakiso is sourced from 700 family owned farms living in the Shakiso woreda of the Guji Zone within the Oromia region, Ethiopia. 700 coffee farmers deliver ripe cherries to the Abyot Boru mill. As this is a natural coffee, ripe cherries are carefully selected and immediately placed on raised beds carefully constructed to ensure proper air circulation and temperature control for an optimal drying process. Cherries are also turned regularly on the beds to prevent damage during the drying process. This coffee is medium bodied, on the sweeter side and has fruit notes of blackberry, peach and raspberry. One of our more popular coffees for sure.
